Fire Fighting Systems

TCI Engenharia Industrial specializes in the complete supply of fire prevention and combat systems and has its own staff of engineers, technicians and designers, with effective experience in integrated systems and their due training.
The company designs, executes and maintains the various systems and processes   within the segment.

Why have a Fire Fighting and Prevention System?

State Law 14.130/2001 and its updates, determines that every building or space intended for collective use in the state of Minas Gerais must be covered by a PROJECT AGAINST FIRE that, after being approved by the Fire Department, are executed and, subsequently, inspected by the same Public Institution, when an AVCB, Fire Department Inspection Report, will be issued, a document that will attest to the safety condition of the establishment or risk area.

 

 

Only single-family residences (residential houses) are excluded from the requirements of the Law. For the elaboration of the project, it is assumed the existence of an architectural project already defined, containing floor plans of all levels of the building, sections and floor plan, in electronic means (usually developed in CAD programs) that will serve as a basis for the project of fire.

 

Part of the project, in addition to the plans, descriptive memorials, hydraulic calculation, certificates and fees: ART from CREA and Public Security Fee (State). In the event of non-compliance with the Law, fines are initially foreseen and, subsequently, if the items indicated in the report are not corrected or complied with, the site may be closed.

 

The Dec. State 44.746/08, amended by Dec. 46,595/2014 disciplines the way in which Law 14,130 is applied, regarding fire and panic safety regulations for buildings and risk areas, and contains the table that classifies the occupation of the building, for the adoption of the relevant table of requirements, in IT-01 (Administrative Procedures), gives the Fire Department the Competence to apply the Law.

Elaboration of the Project

The elaboration of the fire prevention project is the responsibility of the designers and builders of the buildings, and also of the users, who must correctly follow the recommendations, as well as the organization of fire fighting groups, with the aim of achieving the AVCB (auto de inspection by the Fire Department).
